                           Los pronombres posesivos

It isn't mine. It's his.

In Unit 2 we studied the possessive adjectives (my, his, her, etc.). The possessive adjectives must have an object: My book

En la Unidad 2 aprendimos los adjetivos posesivos (my, his, her, etc.). Los adjetivos posesivos deben tener un objeto: My book

This is my book.    This is her watch.

However the possessive pronouns do not need an object, and
are used when the speaker knows what the subject is.

Sin embargo,los pronombres posesivos no necesitan un objeto y son utilizados cuando el que habla sabe cual es el sujeto.

A: Is this your book?

B: No, it isn’t. This one is new, and mine is old.

Look at the possessive pronouns and memorize them.

Observa los pronombres posesivos y memorizalos.
