Lesson 11: Sentence Order Mother is cooking dinner in the kitchen. English sentence order is very specific: Mary is studying English in the bedroom. Jeff is dancing in the disco. Ted is jogging in the park. It isn't possible to say In the bedroom English is studying Mary, or Studying Mary in the bedroom English. In other languages this may be possible, but not in English. For now practice using the subject noun or pronoun first. The verb always follows the subject.
